TIME OF CRAPULENCE
We are in a time of transition, the arrival to power of Donald Trump, on January 20, 2025, accelerated the processes, and made it starkly evident, however the cycle of destruction of the international order that emerged in the post-war, had begun a long time ago, with a set of sustained and constant actions, by a series of forces, among which the USA stands out, both in the sphere of international law, as well as in relation to the institutional strength of multilateral organizations, concrete facts, corroborate what has been stated(1).
The second piece of evidence of a new era was the signing of the decree ordering pardons for approximately 1,600 people detained, investigated, tried, and convicted, or awaiting sentencing, for one of the greatest affronts to democracy in the USA: the storming of the Capitol on January 6, 2021. This presidential decision brazenly defied the entire institutional framework, violating the principles that have underpinned the American legal system.
A week later, the first meeting with presidents from across Europe was held, and it was announced that a cycle had ended. With singular bluntness, it was reported that, from that date forward, the US was no longer responsible for continental security, and that they would have to bear the cost of their defense, which had been centered on the American military-industrial complex. New rules of engagement were announced, responsibilities and funding were assigned, and a total reconfiguration of NATO was enacted.
On February 4, in a
joint press conference at the White House with Benjamin Netanyahu, Trump, with
the cold-bloodedness of a complete scoundrel, asserted the need to
"resettle Gazans in a number of foreign countries, clean up the area,
infested with ruined buildings, slums, and bombs" (2). He added that, if
necessary, the US would assume control of Gaza and eventually turn it into an
exclusive Mediterranean resort.
A war of tariff threats
followed, a kind of psychological warfare operation aimed at softening up Gaza.
It is worth highlighting the threats made in early February to Canada and
Mexico , his neighbors and strategic partners, to all the countries of the Americas, to countries in Europe, and a brutal tax package against China. This was a complete affront to the principles of the global trading system.
A scathing critique of
multilateralism was launched, announcing the withdrawal from the World Health
Organization. Threats were also made to withdraw from all sources of funding;
to date, the US has abandoned a total of 66 multilateral organizations (3), which is catastrophic
because the system was already showing signs of a serious crisis and a high
percentage of its budget came from this source.
At the end of February, Volodymyr Zelensky, the president of Ukraine, was summoned to a high-level meeting at the White House to discuss the war and the various options. When least expected, the meeting turned into a media circus in front of television cameras. He was pressured to sign an end-of-war agreement, established between Trump and Putin, and when he refused, he received the most unbelievable insults and reprimands from Trump and Vance.
War as an agent of: innovation, redistribution of power, economic accumulation, “development”
The key to understanding the United States lies in understanding the importance of its military-industrial complex, a complex and highly sophisticated strategic system with the most advanced scientific and technical research processes in the world, where technological innovation allows it to reach unprecedented levels. One could say that, by analogy, the military-industrial complex functions like a dynamic locomotive, to which a series of cars are coupled, uncoupled, and recoupled.
A group of top-level specialists has observed worrying indicators in the economy: a high and complicated fiscal deficit, a decline in practically all key areas, compounded by the relocation of American capital and interests, and the establishment of production processes in China and throughout Southeast Asia, due to the high competitiveness of the workforce and the systems of social organization.
The USA has maintained its leadership in advanced semiconductors, highly specialized chips, software and digital platforms that underpin the digital economy, advanced intervention and defense technologies, surveillance, attack and hypersonic missiles, and global electronics in the supply chain. In other words, if we link these areas of cutting-edge technology and high expertise with the strategic military complex as its central axis, we have a position of immense power. This explains the systematic establishment of a new type of warfare on multiple fronts worldwide. Therefore, the most important driving force in its structure is the military complex, complemented by the energy core and the digital core. Hence its constant need to adopt the logic of global policeman, or to wage continuous war in various parts of the world, as a strategic necessity for the system to function.
It is in wars that scientific and technical processes are reaffirmed and evaluated, power is increased, and the stock market is boosted. The Art of War, written by Sun Tzu, condenses the pillars of warfare: the analysis of opportunities, timing, potential, and vulnerabilities. War is the realm of deception, even more so today with digital communication. Therefore, it is not unreasonable to consider the dynamics of armed conflict in the stock market movements of the main technological centers that constitute the military complex.
In November, Trump declared that they viewed the situation in Nigeria with concern, due to a threat to the very existence of the Christian population, especially those of white descent, posed by Islamic groups. On December 26, he announced, “We have a Christmas present… the United States Armed Forces executed numerous perfect strikes against the terrorist scum who attack and murder primarily innocent Christians .” This was the culmination of an operation ordered in the last quarter of the year by the Pentagon. It involved the deployment of a naval vessel in the Gulf of Guinea, the mass launch of Tomahawk missiles, and complementary actions by bomber aircraft from both Nigeria and the USA in a joint operation (4). There was no statement whatsoever from the highest multilateral organizations.
1 year, 4 wars, 0 actions of international order
In the war between Israel and Iran, the US intervened, attacking Iran with Operation Midnight Hammer. This operation involved highly sophisticated B2 stealth bombers dropping bombs capable of penetrating rock or concrete to considerable depths and detonating their explosive payloads. These military weapons, possessed only by the Americans, proved crucial in disrupting Iran's nuclear capabilities. Despite the dangerous nature of the operation and its global implications due to the involvement of nuclear weapons, there was no decisive action from the United Nations or the International Atomic Energy Agency.
The conflict between Israel and Hamas in the Gaza Strip continued, bringing with it a humanitarian catastrophe and crimes against humanity. Tens of thousands of human beings were massacred or subjected to unspeakable atrocities. None of the high-level international organizations assumed an active presence or defended the population .. The human rights that inspired the creation of the League of Nations crumbled. Gaza was effectively treated as a sacrifice zone, a place where the world's expendable population was deemed surplus. It is striking that Europe as a whole, or the BRIC countries, failed to forge a unified and unified position.

Starting in November, an impressive naval and air fleet was deployed in the Caribbean off the coast of Venezuela, launching an attack on the country on January 3rd through a military operation described as surgically precise. They extracted Nicolás Maduro, the current dictator, from his residence. . This scoundrel, along with other scoundrels such as Diosdado Cabello, Delci Rodríguez, Vladimir Padrino, Jorge Rodríguez, and Tarek William Saab, and a group of unscrupulous supporters of Chavismo, has subjugated the Venezuelan people, plunging them into unimaginable levels of poverty, repression, and social control. The Venezuelan Armed Forces possessed one of the most sophisticated anti-aircraft defense systems in the Americas, of Russian, Chinese, and Iranian origin.
The military operation involved a variety of warfare components: information, psychological, cyber, sonic, and conventional operations. It should be noted that all defense systems were affected, rendering them unusable, something that has never happened in a contemporary conflict. . If we recall the recent war between Iran and Israel, a veritable battle was taking place in the skies in each of the territories, whether through the Iron Dome in Israel or the anti-aircraft interception systems in Iran. In the case of Venezuela, the defense systems were completely disabled, after which a fierce bombing of all strategic military bases followed, along with the parallel intervention of Delta Force, whose responsibility was to intervene, eliminate the protective perimeter, and extract Maduro.
The Defeat: From the Bay of Pigs to the Next Generation War
What happened should prompt us to reflect deeply on the level of development and technological sophistication of the attack, which completely nullified any possibility of a response and led to the defeat of the Venezuelan Armed Forces in a matter of hours.
The Chavista collectives, the motorcycle gangs, and the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution, being paramilitary structures that emerged under the doctrine and technology of the 1960s, are useless for contemporary warfare and defense; they are, strictly speaking, structures of repression and attack against the civilian population
Cuba also emerged defeated, because it has never suffered a military defeat of that magnitude. If anything, it had a top-level team for the protection of its leaders, one of the most efficient in the world. There have been hundreds of attempts to eliminate its leaders, but the G2, the highest-level intelligence group, always emerged undefeated, until it faced the union between the military apparatus and the highest technological development; digital warfare as data analysis and prospective resolution, in real time.
We could conclude that in Venezuela a war event has been recorded for the first time, where the link with the most refined developments of the last phase of the industrial revolution is clearly observed (5): data mining, data processing, advanced robotics, connectivity of sensors and devices, and Artificial Intelligence.
The post-war world order is dead
